As a Junior Scientist part of our solid-state characterization team, your main responsibilities are:

• Independently drafting the project plan/protocol and the executing of the plan/protocol;
• Preparing reports to present results and conclusions to clients (in English);
• Supporting your colleagues for the daily review of data, troubleshooting activities and management of deviations;
• Acting as a technical expert on techniques you (have) work(ed) with;
• Work in accordance with international guidelines such as GMP, EP and USP;
• Participating to the application of- and support the quality system (writing, implementing, executing SOPs).

Our Eurofins Spinnovation team consists mostly of Analysts and Scientists. You will be part of a cohesive team with short lines of communication and a lot of experienced professionals to learn from. We encourage knowledge sharing and personal development.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Scientist who meets the following criteria:

• You have a MSc or BSc in analytical chemistry or organic chemistry with demonstrated Analytical Chemistry experience and knowledge of solid-state characterization sciences;
• You have previous experience in development and validation of analytical methods, preferable in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry;
• We have a dynamic environment which requires multi-tasking, prioritizing and taking responsibility for your work. You will need to be flexible and assisting your colleagues where possible;
• Good communication skills, with good command of the English language, both oral and written. Dutch language is a plus but not prerequisite;
• Your enjoy working in/as a team and you welcome and use feedback as an opportunity to learn and grow.
