Expansion of the Management of Nelisca Life Science Accounting Firm

Mr. Sander Verbaarschot has joined the management team of Nelisca. This is a new step in an existing collaboration. The formalization aligns with the ambitions to grow and meet the increasing demand from the life science market for fiscal, financial, and administrative advice.

The accounting firm, operating from its main office at Pivot Park in Oss, focuses nationally on start-up and scale-up entrepreneurs in the life science / biotechnology sector. It’s a dynamic market with rapidly growing companies dealing with very specific laws and regulations and subsidies. With the expansion of the management team through the arrival of Verbaarschot, Nelisca is responding to the growing demand for support and assistance, particularly in administrative and fiscal matters, for startups.

Sander Verbaarschot: ‘The Netherlands is a true breeding ground for pharmaceutical and medical innovations. It is an honor to be involved in an accounting firm. Our (inter)national clients greatly appreciate our specific knowledge and experience in this sector. Start-ups are increasingly finding their way to us. I have helped build the company with Henk Groen and my colleagues, and I am proud of their trust in me as a member of the management team. By formally joining as a director, I can fully focus on the growth ambitions of our firm.’

Together with Henk Groen, Verbaarschot leads an ambitious team. Henk is pleased with the addition of a new member to the management team: ‘I am delighted that Sander and I can further expand our company within the Netherlands. Promising, rapidly growing start-ups are already finding us. Sander and I have been working together for a long time, and it’s great that we can put our shoulders to the wheel in the coming years to become an even more well-known and larger player.’
