This year it is exactly 100 years ago since large-scale medicine production started in Oss. Consequently, Oss has since been called the ‘pharmaceutical capital’ of the Netherlands. Many pharmaceutical companies and enterprises are located here, such as Organon, MSD, Aspen and many more on Pivot Park. This wonderful milestone needs to be celebrated and for this purpose, the #100yearspharmafuture themed year was created. This initiative comes from Aspen Oss, MSD, Organon, Life Sciences campus Pivot Park and the municipality of Oss.

The PharmafutureBattle is part of the #100yearspharmafiture themed year. During the PharmafutureBattle in theatre De Lievekamp, theatre-goers will have access to the special research and activities being carried out in pharma in Oss. What pioneering research is taking place? What made Oss, without us knowing it, world-famous? Which bright minds are working on medicines for our future? Join this evening to get to know all kinds of uncommon topics!

On stage
Researchers and employees of  pharma in Oss trade their daily workplace for the stage in theatre De Lievekamp and compete with each other: who will give the best, funniest or most interesting presentation about their work? With playful questions, they put each other to the test. The audience plays an important role, as they can ask questions and vote on the eventual winner. Because without a jury, no battle!

Do not worry: background knowledge is absolutely not necessary, as it will be extensively covered this evening. The show will be presented by René M. Broeders, founder of the improvisation company “Op Sterk Water”.

The PharmafutureBattle will be held on Monday, November 28th & Tuesday, November 29th  from 20:00 to 22:00. 

Pivot Park has 50 tickets available for the Pivot community for the show on Monday November 28th, send an email to communications@pivotpark.com if you are interested in one of these tickets. 

Tickets for Tuesday November 29th are available via the website of theatre De Lievekamp.
