For the Ardena Business Unit based in Oss, we are looking for a Teamlead Material Management.

Your role

As Material Management Team Lead you are leading the material Management team, being responsible for the purchasing, release, and storage of all materials used for our API and Nano productions.

You need to have clear oversight of production planning, required materials, inventory and outstanding orders. You will address delivery clashes and arrange alternative solutions. Furthermore, you will coordinate shipments of critical, Ardena manufactured, products.

You will closely work with Production, Process R&D and QA.

Your key responsibilities

  • You will be leading a group of 5 material management officers.
  • You will coach the team, providing guidance and support.
  • You have a hands-on mentality, playing an active roll in the material management process.
  • You are responsible for the purchase, release, and storage of materials.
  • You will participate in production planning meetings and assure availability of materials according to production planning and arrange alternative supply in case of delivery issues.
  • You will oversee inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
  • You will be responsible for supplier management.
  • You will support shipments of manufactured products.
  • You will report directly to the Director Facilities and Material Logistics.


Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or in Logistics/Supply chain management with experience within pharmaceutical industry
  • You have at least 5 years of pharma working experience in a leadership role
  • You have experience in logistics/supply chain management
  • You have experience with supplier agreements
  • You are flexible, a problem solver and a team player
  • You are pro-active, pragmatic and customer focused
  • You feel comfortable in a dynamic and changing environment
  • You have good communication skills and are fluent in both Dutch & English (written as well as spoken)
  • You like to learn and develop yourself
