IMMIOS is a Dutch biotechnology company that develops novel therapeutics for treating
autoimmune diseases and cancer. IMMIOS was founded in 2022 and is located at the Pivot Park in Oss. Working closely with world-renowned academic researchers at various (Dutch) universities, IMMIOS translates new and unique biology into potential novel therapeutics. IMMIOS is built by a team that has a strong track-record in drug discovery and also has developed several drugs in these fields. Science, experimental data, learning every day, transparency and getting-things-done are the critical drivers to our success.

Scientist Immunology (PhD)

The Scientist will be responsible for the functional characterization, optimization and validation of one of our lead candidate antibodies. Thereto, the candidate develops (cellular) assays, provides technical expertise and scientific insights to select and advance our novel therapeutics in the field of immunology or immune oncology, ultimately enabling (pre-) clinical development. The successful candidate will assist one or more Research Associates in their research efforts and will participate in a research collaboration with academia. Finally, the candidate is expected to contribute to scientific discussions and propose novel projects, assays and technologies at IMMIOS.

Preferred qualifications
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree and/or post-doctoral experience in the field of tumour
immunology, immunology, oncology or a closely related area. A proven track record in cell biology, cellular immunology, and in vitro (signalling) assays or molecular biology is desired.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 3 to 5 years relevant work experience;
  • The ability to design, conduct, and interpret results from experiments that identify novel
    target biology and advance drug discovery efforts;
  • Experience with immunological technologies, like flow cytometry is desired;
  • Focus on output and results, strong teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
