About Immios
IMMIOS is a Dutch biotechnology company that develops novel therapeutics for treating autoimmune diseases and cancer. IMMIOS was founded in 2022 and is located at the Pivot Park in Oss. Working closely with world-renowned academic researchers at various (Dutch) universities, IMMIOS translates new and unique biological concepts into novel therapeutics. To advance our projects, we are looking for two talented and highly motivated (Senior) Research Associates (MSc/BSc) in cell biology/immunology.
Preferred qualifications
In our laboratory, we isolate and culture immune cells to test our lead candidate antibodies in various in vitro assays, evaluating their effects on immune cell proliferation, survival, activation and differentiation. The (Senior) Research Associates will participate in the characterization of our lead candidate antibodies, furthering our understanding of the biology of the target proteins. For this position, we are seeking candidates with 3-6 years of relevant working experience. A MSc/BSc degree in immunology, (molecular) biology or similar field is a must.
Candidates must have proven experience with mammalian cell and tissue culture techniques. Expertise in immunological techniques is a plus. Techniques used include, flow cytometry, primary cell isolation and culture, RNAseq, high-content microscopy and ELISA. An interest in bioinformatics and database searches is a plus. Candidates that master molecular biology techniques, such as mRNA isolation, DNA cloning and CRISPR-CAS9, are also encouraged to apply.
Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
