Bij BioConnection werken we elke dag aan iets bijzonders: het produceren van geneesmiddelen die een verschil maken voor patiënten over de hele wereld. Om onze ambities verder te realiseren, zijn we op zoek naar een Process Automation Manager die onze digitale en geautomatiseerde systemen naar een hoger niveau tilt.

In deze rol ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de strategie, ontwikkeling en optimalisatie van alle (proces)automatiserings- en IT-systemen binnen onze organisatie. Jij leidt het team van Automation Engineers en zorgt ervoor dat onze systemen betrouwbaar, compliant en toekomstbestendig zijn – van hardware en software tot validatie en dataveiligheid.

Wat jij gaat doen

Als Process Automation Manager ben jij het technisch en strategisch aanspreekpunt voor alles wat te maken heeft met automatisering en IT binnen Operations.

  • Geeft leiding aan het Automation team (2 FTE) en coördineert dagelijkse werkzaamheden
  • Ontwikkelt en implementeert de strategie voor procesautomatisering en IT
  • Autoriseert wijzigingen op het gebied van hardware, software en infrastructuur
  • Borgt compliance, validatie en databeveiliging volgens GMP-richtlijnen
  • Initieert en leidt verbeter-, innovatie- en digitaliseringsprojecten
  • Onderhoudt contact met leveranciers over onderhoud, contracten en updates
  • Bereidt audits en inspecties voor en begeleidt deze
  • Stelt procedures, richtlijnen en documentatie (SOP’s) op en beheert deze
  • Draagt verantwoordelijkheid voor budget, planning en prioritering
  • Begeleidt en ontwikkelt medewerkers en voert beoordelingsgesprekken
  • Rapporteert over prestaties, risico’s en voortgang aan de Operations Director


Wij vragen

We zoeken een strategische, toekomstgerichte leider die technische expertise combineert met een mensgerichte aanpak. Jij weet hoe productie- en automatiseringssystemen bijdragen aan onze groei, maakt weloverwogen keuzes over implementaties, en bouwt aan een toekomstbestendige digitale én operationele omgeving. Je verbindt mensen, processen en technologie – en krijgt energie van structurele vooruitgang.

  • HBO of WO werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur richting ICT of industriële automatisering
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in een leidinggevende functie binnen IT, automatisering of procescontrol
  • Ervaring binnen een (bio)farmaceutische of GMP-omgeving is een pré
  • Kennis van automatiseringssystemen, IT-infrastructuur, validatie en databeveiliging
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om helder te schakelen tussen techniek, operatie en management
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel in woord als geschrift
  • Een VOG-aanvraag maakt onderdeel uit van de selectieprocedure

BioConnection is gespecialiseerd in contract manufacturing en services gericht op de ontwikkeling en productie van steriele (bio)farmaceutische geneesmiddelen, zoals het afvullen in flacons en spuiten en vriesdrogen voor zowel klinische onderzoeksmaterialen als commerciële productie.
