Pivot Park doneert planten aan Maaslandcollege Oss

De uitbreiding van de campus is al een paar maanden in volle gang voor o.a. de bouw van Panther, een gebouw van vijf bouwlagen met een totale oppervlakte van 4500 m2 waar Pharming zal gaan vestigen.  John Tiessens van Pivot Park is onder andere verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse operationele werkzaamheden van IBN waaronder de groenvoorziening op het park, zegt “Vanwege de start van de nieuwbouw zijn we genoodzaakt de huidige beplanting te verplaatsen. Het is aan IBN wel toevertrouwd om te zorgen dat onze planten elders verder kunnen bloeien en er geen groen verloren gaat.” Het IBN zorgt voor zowel Pivot Park als voor het Maaslandcollege voor het groenonderhoud, en tipte dat bij Pivot Park een keur aan mooie platen gingen verdwijnen. Daarom hebben de duizendknoop, kattenkruid en lampenpoetser gras een nieuw thuis bij het Maaslandcollege gekregen. Op goede vrijdag zijn zo’n 16 mensen, met name oud-leraren van het Maaslandcollege die niet meer voor de klas hoeven te staan, naar het Pivot Park gegaan om de planten uit de grond te halen.
