On Thursday, June 26, Aleksandr Garin of Organon at Pivot Park received the Pedro Hermkens Stipend from Pedro Hermkens and Brigitte Drees. Awarded during the Pivot Park Summer Event, the stipend honors the legacy of emeritus professor Pedro Hermkens of HAN University of Applied Sciences.

Delegation from Baden-Württemberg visits Pivot Park
On Tuesday 4 June, Pivot Park had the honour of welcoming a business delegation from Baden-Württemberg, a region in southern Germany. The visit was part of a two-day mission to the Netherlands, particularly to in Noord-Brabant, centred around the theme “Personalised Medicine: Tailor-made Solutions through Life Sciences and Diagnostics.”
Pivot Park and QuestPair: Smart labs, strong starts
Throughout 2024, the Pivot Incubator team worked hard to ensure that the laboratories were fully equipped, allowing future startups to begin immediately. We recognised that setting up a well-equipped lab can be a significant challenge for emerging businesses, which is why we prioritised providing turnkey facilities. To achieve this, we partnered with expert organisations such as QuestPair.
Supporting talent through the Pedro Hermkens stipend
At Pivot Park, we believe in empowering the people behind innovation. Through the Pedro Hermkens stipend, we support employees of campus-based companies in pursuing professional development.
The annual €1,000 stipend enables them to follow advanced courses or training to boost their skills and careers. Last year’s recipient, Josephine Stein (Citryll), completed a 10-week Harvard course in immunology.
Marie Curie Building Crowned the Most Beautiful Building in Oss by jury
The Marie Curie Building at Pivot Park has been awarded the jury prize for the Most Beautiful Building in Oss, as announced during the prestigious ceremony held on Wednesday, 15 January. The expert jury highlighted the building’s strength through simplicity in design, achieving high-quality architecture with minimal means.
