Since December 1st Checkmark Labrecruitment is present at Pivot Park. CheckMark has been active as a recruiter of laboratory personnel in chemistry and the life sciences for over 20 years now. “We understand the changing needs of candidates and clients and respond to them in innovative ways”, tells Cora Bos, Checkmark’s commercial director.
Checkmark will support you in finding the right candidates for posts in the lab or in process development, production, QA, compliance and customer service or sales. The Checkmark network includes laboratory managers, scientists, analysts, QA specialists, bioprocess engineers and operators at intermediate and higher-level laboratory trainee, graduate and PhD level.
“At CheckMark we feel best in the vicinity of our candidates, seconded employees and clients. With a growing base in Noord-Brabant we also continued our expansion of office locations in that area. The Pivot Park in Oss easily met with all our requirements and has become our choice. At the Pivot Park we find ourselves easily accessible in an inspiring environment, between innovative life science R&D organizations.”
“We can offer you seconded staff for temporary projects, secondment with the option of a permanent employment contract and recruitment & selection assignments (direct hire).
During the secondment project, we will maintain contact with you and with the employee. Together with you as the client, we will look as how the process is going and we will respond quickly to your requests or enquiries. You are therefore assured of our timely support, and therefore of a hassle-free project.”
Make space for talented higher-level laboratory trainees
CheckMark’s Analyst Development Programme is a 3-year career pathway in which we give ambitious, talented higher-level laboratory graduates the opportunity for accelerated development.
“Our ADP analysts are young analysts who are ambitious, communicative and intelligent and have plenty of initiative. They also have very broad professional interests. The ADP analysts have graduated from Higher level laboratory course (bachelor level) and can be deployed operationally in your lab for a one-year period.
The ADP analysts can be deployed widely within your lab organisation at university of applied sciences graduate level and above, on temporary projects and in flexible positions.”
Invest in future talent
“Like you, we are very aware of the need to nurture the talent of the future. As such, you will regularly find us at regional training centres (ROCs), universities of applied sciences and universities. There we hold job application workshops and offer students the opportunity to get an idea of what jobs are available and what they should be looking for well before graduation. In addition, we have excellent contacts with organisations including KNCV and TI-COAST (the Dutch platform for Analytical Science and Technology) and we have a presence at reputable career events. We often hold application workshops for students and professionals there.”
