The Dutch Innovation Award is not only about innovation competencies, but also about the positive impact on people and the environment with its innovative technology.
“Based on participation in the Dutch Innovation Monitor, desk research, site visits and an expert jury, the five companies that compete for the Dutch Innovation Prize 2022 were selected. They differ significantly in the way they innovate. However, they are quite similar with regard to their ambitions to contribute to a better world,” says jury chairman Prof. Henk Volberda, Professor of Strategy & Innovation at the UvA and director of the Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation.
The companies that were also nominated: Cyclomedia, InProcess-LSP, Singhboard and Rackmount.IT. They successfully reached the last nine.
“We are proud of these companies, as they were among the last nine, out of a total of 712 participating companies,” says Ralph van Hessen, director of Big Improvement Days. The BID also likes to put these companies in the spotlight; therefore, they traditionally receive all nine BID Innovation Awards.
The broadcast will be on Wednesday evening 2nd November on NPO1 during the TV program ‘The world of tomorrow’ of AVROTROS.
