About the role:
As a Health and Safety Engineer you design, implement and establish the Health, Safety and Environment processes at all Pharming production sites to ensure compliancy with health and safety laws and regulations. He/she is the HSE subject matter expert and advises managers and employees regarding HSE compliancy in a GMP environment.
In this role there is a large interface with Quality Control, Production, R&D.
- Design, implement and establish health, safety and Environment processes in the production organization in collaboration with operations
- Performing internal safety audits and inspections identifying potential risks to employees and business to ensure continued compliance to legislature.
- Communicate findings to the relevant stakeholders involved and track the required finding close-out to remove the risk.
- Create, develop, implement, train and standardize the required HSE documentation, supporting employee/site safety and security.
- Maintain the documentation system to adapt to changing legislation in the field
- As health, safety and Environment subject matter expert advise and work together in Operational projects
What you’ll need to succeed
- HBO bachelor within the required discipline of HSE
- Applicable HSE knowledge relating to site, building, plant room, storage and personnel safety and regulation.
- Excellent verbal and technical writing skills in English and Dutch.
- Knowledge of cGMP practice and regulatory guidelines (EMA, FDA, ICH)
- 5 Years HSE experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
