Surviving the Dutch

Embarking on a journey to a new country is a big step, full of excitement and opportunity. Pivot Park is offering the opportunity to companies seeking to acquaint their international employees with Dutch language and culture, while making new connections. Our previous editions of surviving the Dutch consist of 30+ graduates from diverse backgrounds. Are you next? 

Are you or your colleagues interested in acquiring basic Dutch language skills, delving into Dutch culture, and want to meet other international peers? Join our program “Surviving the Dutch” program.  

This 10-week program includes:  
  • Foundations of Dutch Language: Guided by a certified NT2 teacher, participants will undergo 10 sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours. Tailored for beginners, this course aims to elevate students to Level A1 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages, with a strong emphasis on oral communication. The program culminates with an assessment, and successful candidates will receive a certification. 
  • Dutch Culture Training: Spanning 3 sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours (after Dutch language course), this component is designed to offer insights into Dutch behavior within both business and personal contexts. Participants will gain an understanding of cultural disparities in relation to their own backgrounds. 
  • Group Activities: Engaging in 3 evening programs (after Dutch language course), participants will enjoy team-building exercises, fostering camaraderie, and immersing themselves in quintessential Dutch activities. These activities will be outside Pivot Park.

  • Commencement Time: 16:00 pm 
  • Location: Building RK-K Chesbrough, Level 3, Room 5 
  • Available places: Limited to 12 participants 
  • Price Per Person: €895, – (inclusive of training material and meals, exclusive of VAT). We encourage you to liaise with your employer for potential program financing.
