André van de Sande – Advisor to Pivot Park and CEO André van de Sande Consultancy
André is a senior Executive with over 25 years of Life Sciences experience in both mature and emerging markets in Western and Central Europe, Asia Pacific and Middle East Africa. He successfully led organizations ranging from 40 to 1400 employees as CEO, Managing Director and Regional Vice President. Currently André is Chairman of different supervisory boards and advisor to several companies. He recently concluded the second exit of Lifescience Consultancy company Xendo Holding. André holds a MBA degree from Tilburg university, a MSc in Management from Purdue University and followed the supervisory board member program of Nyenrode University.
Erik van den Berg – CEO AM-Pharma
Erik has over twenty years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. He joined AM-Pharma in September 2007 as Chief Business Officer and became the company’s CEO in 2011. Previously, as a Senior Executive at Organon he was responsible for leading the Company’s global biotechnology business development. Erik has been involved in the execution of over 20 transactions and partnerships and raised more than €200M in equity and debt financing for biotechnology companies. He is also the founder and board member of two high-tech start-up companies. Erik has a MSc in Chemistry from the University of Utrecht and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
Sander van Asbeck – CEO & founder of Mercurna
Sander is a biomedical scientist with a focus on poly-nucleotides and nano-particle drugs. Based on this experience, he co-founded Mercurna in early 2017 to develop mRNA-based drugs. Over the past 2 years, he has guided Mercurna through an exciting start-up period. In this time, he has been involved in both the management and the day-to-day science to develop Mercurna’s proprietary drug delivery platform. Sander holds a Msc in Biomedical Sciences from the Radboud University Nijmegen and aims to finish his PhD on mRNA-based drugs in the next year.

In this workshop you will learn how to create your own successful elevator speech, and to convey it to others in a convincing way.
