Synaffix Named ‘Biotech Company of the Year’ at the LSX European Lifestars Awards
Synaffix B.V. (Synaffix), a biotechnology company focused on commercializing its clinical-stage platform technology for the development of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) with best-in-class therapeutic index, today announces the Company has been awarded ‘Biotech Company of the Year 2022’ at the annual LSX, European Lifestars Awards Ceremony, held on the 14th of November at the Old Billingsgate in London, UK.
10 years Pivot Park: Arnold & Siedsma
Arnold & Siedsma have been located at Pivot Park since the life science park’s inception. The specialist patent company helps start-ups and established companies to register and protect their intellectual property rights. “This is vital to obtain further financing and to continue to innovate” explains Petri van Someren, a partner in the company.
Ten years ago, Gerjan Kemperman expected that the demand for CDMO services would increase enormously. So when Organon/ MSD left Oss in 2012, he and a colleague started the company ChemConnection at Pivot Park to ‘fill the gap’ and offer development and manufracturing services of active pharmaceutical ingredients to biotech companies. A good decision as his company, nowadays called Ardena, has grown rapidly.
Vivenics was one of the first companies to establish an office at Pivot Park ten years ago in 2012. The company became responsible for the Park’s IT infrastructure after the departure of MSD/Organon. Since then, Vivenics has become a well known and highly respected company in the consultancy of data integrity, cybersecurity and privacy – all essential in the field of data science.
