The theme year #100yearspharmafuture, which focused on the 100th years anniversary of the pharmaceutical industry in Oss, will be closed with a running and walking race. The starting and finish line will be at Pivot Park, while the exceptional course will take you through the heart of Oss, along the pharmaceutical companies at Moleneind.
For the organization of the sports event scheduled for October 8th, various initiators of the #100yearspharmafuture theme year have joined forces with the organizers of the SNS Oss City Run. This run was recently held for the fourth time and achieved a record number of over 900 participants.
Vitality is important for Pivot Park and forms the foundation of a healthy organization. Not only is the vitality of its own community members important, but also that of all enthusiasts from Oss and the surrounding area is important for Pivot Park. “For pharmaceutical employers, attention to the health and vitality of their employees is a matter of course. We encourage exercise, and support colleagues’ participation in various running events. We are happy to seize the opportunity of the anniversary year to now host such a sporting activity ourselves,” according to Brigitte Drees.
The course can be completed by both walkers and runners. For runners, the Pharma Future Run is a competition where the emphasis is on participation rather than winning. The distance of the course, which passes by the major pharmaceutical companies on Moleneind, is about 3 kilometers. Participants can choose how many laps they want to run. Afterwards, rankings will be created based on the number of laps completed.
