The time is ticking. On 25th May 2018, the new European law General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), also known as the “Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming” (AVG), will be implemented officially. The current “Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens” (WBP) will end and the GDPR will tighten the rules from the WBP. In addition, the GDPR also adds a number of new obligations. Organisations must be able to demonstrate their safe and responsible handling of personal data.
Especially for organisations in Life Sciences and Pharma, who have not yet really adapted to the new rights and obligations, 4 Pivot Park companies will organise an informative meeting at the pivot Park on Tuesday 17 April 2018 from 15 hr – 18 hr in the Panorama Hall (Chesbrough building).
Each company will give a short introduction at 15:30hr and again at 16:30hr. In the remaining time, visitors can ask individual questions and discuss their relevant issues with the present experts.
It will be open to walk in and out at any time starting from 15hr.
Participation is free of charge and afterwards there is of course a snack and a drink for you.
All attendees will receive some free documentation, e.g. a model “verwerkersovereenkomst”.
Please, register by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
